At Openhouse, kids build confidence by speaking, storytelling, and playing games — not memorizing lines. Our Play Day is a joyful, pressure-free peek into how we help kids find their voice.
🧊 Warm-Up & Icebreaker (5 min)
We begin with a quick intro game where each child says their name with a sound, gesture, or short line.
🎲 Activity 1: Guess Me (20 min)
A fast-paced vocabulary game where children take turns describing words on a card without using the word itself. Builds articulation, quick thinking, and audience awareness.

📖 Activity 2: Tale Trail (20 min)
A collaborative storytelling relay. One child starts a story with a single sentence, and the next builds on it — with unexpected twists, big imaginations, and lots of laughter.
🎭 Mini Performance & Reflection (15 min)
Children present a short 30-second story monologue introducing sharing “what I loved today.”
🧑🏫 Parent Circle (After session)
After the session, you’ll meet the teacher, see our public speaking games we use weekly, and learn how we track your child’s progress — from first words to confident speakers.
